Our roots
Paolo Fazzini (“Pinin”) was born in 1985 in Premana, a mountain village at one thousand meters above sea level, located between the Upper Valsassina and the Upper Valvarrone.
After being orphaned, at the age of eleven he left for Venice where he worked at his paternal workshop.
At 16 he moved to Verona where he perfected the art of sharpening; in 1942 he returned to Premana to devote himself to his creations and consolidate a path that is still evolving today.

Pinin over the years
In 1964 the youngest son Fabio Fazzini, after his father’s loss, continued his work with the desire to experiment and be distinguished by registering the Due Spade brand.
In 2001, Paolo Fazzini, the Founder’s thirty-year-old nephew and namesake, took over from his father Fabio the leadership of the company. He immediately felt the need for a change, for an evolution so he starded traveling.
Pinin today
Since 2013, Maria Fazzini, Paolo’s younger sister, is by his side. After observing and “breathing” the work of her father and older brother from an early age, she divides herself between technical and commercial tasks.
Her passion for foreign languages helped to expand the Pinin sales network overseas.
A brother and sister who passionately combine past and present, craftsmanship and research.
Pinin today is Family
